My upbringing was in Schuylkill County, Pa, where I grew up on a farm. While I intended to be a farmer, during my teenage years, the Lord indicated He had other plans; thus began my being directed into ministry.
I am a graduate of the former United Wesleyan College, Allentown, PA, 1982, B.A.; and the Evangelical Theological Seminary, Myerstown, PA, 1995, M.Div.
Beginning ministry in 1982, near Emmaus, Pa., I have also pastored in Western New York State, and in upstate New York- northeast of Watertown; serving an independent congregation, and in the Wesleyan Church. I came to Zieglerville in 1992.
I have been married for 28 years to my college sweetheart, Terry, who grew up near Buffalo, New York, and was raised in the Wesleyan Church. We have 3 adult children and 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter.
